Job Description

Now is your opportunity to be part of the Pillow Talk Fabric, by joining us in this highly excitingAssistant Store Manager role at our Warrnambool store. We are looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager ready to take the next step in their leadership journey. This role offers the unique opportunity to join Pillow Talk as an Assistant Store Manager and, following structured handover and development period, step into a Store Manager secondment while our current Store Manager is on parental leave cover. During this parental leave cover (12 month Fixed-Term), you will gain valuable exposure to full store leadership,



accountability and decision-making.

As an Assistant Store Manager at Pillow Talk, you’ll partner with the Store Manager to lead the team and drive the operational and sales performance of your store. You’ll review store and team member performance on a regular basis and collaborate with the Store Manager to formulate and execute action plansthatleverage your store’s potential. You’ll be a brand ambassador and create highly personalised experiences for customers and employees alike, ensuring high engagement, enviable culture, and sustainable revenue growth. You’ll coach your team in the art of communicating our brand story, evoking in-store passion and brand loyalty with team members and customers alike, and empower your team by demonstrating how their efforts align with the business strategy.

A bit about you...

- Experience in commercial, customer-centric supervisory/Assistant Store Manager role
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to support the Store Manager in the overall running of the store and leading teams to consistently achieve revenue targets
- Fashion or trend-oriented with strengths in visual display and stock optimisation
- Operational agility with a robust inventory management capability




- Consultative selling experience with proven ability to train and coach in the art of consultative selling
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a track record of creating, collaborating, and implementing ideas to improve store trade
- Strong delegation skills with the ability to drive team productivity
