Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Car Detailer (Handyperson) to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure our fleet vehicles are clean, safe, well-presented, and ready for daily use by our workforce.

Your responsibilities will include washing and detailing fleet vehicles, carrying out routine vehicle safety checks, inspecting first aid kits and fire blankets, completing monthly vehicle checklists and cleaning logs, and assisting with the coordination of vehicle servicing and maintenance. You will also help with emergency vehicle maintenance, such as flat tyres and battery issues, maintain a clean and safe car wash area, and ensure appropriate safety signage is in place.

You will work closely with the Purchasing and Inventory Officer, Warehouse Team Leader, and Supply & Procurement Manager, assisting with fleet-related tasks and supporting the wider Supply Department as required.

The ideal candidate will have a current driver's licence, a robust attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness. A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to assist the team with a variety of tasks are essential.
