About the Role
As the Business Services Manager, you'll play a central role in supporting the business across a broad range of operational functions. No two days will be the same as you work closely with the leadership team to ensure the business operates efficiently while delivering an exceptional experience for clients and employees.
Please note: While this is a hybrid/remote opportunity, applicants must be based in Adelaide, as occasional in-person meetings are required.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day business administration and operational support
- Coordinating accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, invoicing and Xero administration
- Supporting project setup, client onboarding and contract administration
- Maintaining business systems including CRM, SharePoint, Monday.com, Harvest and other operational platforms
- Coordinating IT support, hardware procurement and software licensing
- Providing People & Culture administration, including employee onboarding, induction and engagement activities
- Assisting with internal projects, process improvements and business initiatives
- Providing executive and administrative support to the leadership team as required
- Building strong relationships with employees, clients and external service providers
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and business efficiency
About You
You are an adaptable, highly organised and solutions-focused professional who enjoys taking ownership and making things happen. You have exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting both people and business operations.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in business administration, office management or business support within a qualified services environment
- Experience with bookkeeping, payroll and Xero
- Strong organisational, planning and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence using business systems and technology, including CRM platforms and Microsoft 365
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify improvements and solve problems independently
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes
- The ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Highly regarded:
- Experience working within the workers' compensation, return-to-work, injury management, human resources or workplace health and safety sectors
- Experience supporting consulting or advisory businesses
