LOCUM ORTHOTIST & PROSTHETIST – ALICE SPRINGS, NT

We're seeking an experiencedOrthotist & Prosthetistto join a supportive hospital-based team in Alice Springs for a short-term role. This is an exciting opportunity to broaden your clinical experience while enjoying everything Central Australia has to offer.

Essential Requirements

- Bachelor or Master's qualification in Prosthetics & Orthotics
- Demonstrated experience in High-Risk Foot Management (essential)
- Experience providing Interim and Definitive Prosthetic Management
- Experience managing a varied prosthetic and orthotic caseload independently
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
- National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
- Current membership with, or eligibility for membership with, the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association (AOPA)

The Role Includes





- High-Risk Foot Management Clinics
- Adult and Paediatric Orthotic Services
- Inpatient and Outpatient Caseload
- Amputee Rehabilitation Services
- Provision of Interim and Definitive Prostheses
- Assessment, prescription, fitting and review of prosthetic and orthotic devices
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
