Job Title Senior Manager, Trusts & Foundations
Are you a strategic fundraising leader with a passion for creating lasting impact? An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Senior Manager, Trusts and Foundations to join the Fundraising and Philanthropy Department at Australia’s leading biomedical research institute.
About the Position
Under the leadership of the Chief Development Officer, the Fundraising and Philanthropy Department is comprised of five teams; Individual Giving and Donor Growth, Major Donors, Future Giving, Philanthropy Services and Trusts and Foundations. As the leader of a dynamic and highly skilled Trusts and Foundations team, the Senior Manager, Trusts and Foundations is responsible for building a successful program that meets agreed income targets, secures philanthropic gifts of significance, and develops a strong pipeline of prospective opportunities.

You will be a skilled fundraising professional who positions WEHI as the partner of choice for trusts and foundations seeking to achieve transformational impact, and build long-term, productive relationships of mutual benefit.
Selection Criteria
- Tertiary degree in a relevant area is essential.
- Excellent knowledge and competency in fundraising principles, practices, legal and ethical requirements.
- Demonstrable experience in managing a high performing Trusts and Foundations program that successfully achieves income targets and KPIs.
- Proven capacity and track record in identifying, cultivating, soliciting and managing trusts and foundation applications and relationship management.
- Experience in converting highly technical content into plain language communication that retains scientific credibility.
- Health, medical terminology, or scientific background desirable.

Terms of Appointment
This position isongoingin afull-timecapacity. Attractive salary will be negotiated, salary packaging options are available for general living expenses, meal entertainment, novated leasing and more. 12% superannuation payable, plus up to a further 5% after the first 6 months of service via our matching superannuation scheme.
