With significant funding and a strong focus on self-determination, this organisation works directly with communities to drive long-term economic, social and cultural outcomes.

We are seeking an Engagement Adviser to play a key role in connecting communities, organisations and stakeholders with meaningful opportunities.

About the Role

This is a relationship-driven role, working directly with communities across the Northern Territory, but with a robust commercial and program delivery lens.

You will:

- Act as a key point of contact between the organisation and stakeholders, communities and businesses
- Build and maintain respectful, effective relationships across diverse cultural contexts
- Provide clear, practical guidance on funding opportunities and processes
- Support communities and organisations to understand and engage with investment and grant programs
- Facilitate workshops, meetings and engagement activities




- Gather insights to inform programs and investment priorities
- Identify opportunities for economic and community development

About You

You bring a strong understanding of working with Aboriginal communities, alongside the ability to think practically about outcomes, funding, and impact.

You will bring:

- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Experience in community engagement, program delivery, grants or similar environments
- The ability to apply sound judgement when discussing funding, opportunities and priorities
- A level of business or commercial awareness, with an understanding of how programs translate into real outcomes
- Ability to navigate complex or sensitive situations
- Understanding of the Northern Territory context

Requirements

- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience
- NT Driver’s Licence
- Ochre Card and National Criminal History Check
- Willingness to travel to regional and remote locations
