Deliver critical water supply infrastructure for the Darwin region
Influence strategic planning, governance, and major project outcomes
The Northern Territory Department of Logistics and Infrastructure (DLI) works with industry, community and government to deliver safe, efficient and future-focused infrastructure that supports economic growth and strong communities.
Infrastructure NT leads the Territory’s strategic infrastructure planning and development, aligning infrastructure investment with economic and population growth while delivering nationally significant projects.
About the Role
The Adelaide River Off-stream Water Storage (AROWS) project is an innovative and sustainable solution that will double Darwin’s water supply. As part of the Darwin Region Water Supply Infrastructure Program, AROWS would use a naturally occurring ridge formation, approximately one kilometre from the Adelaide River, to pump and store water. As an off-stream storage, the project will create a large scale reservoir without the need to dam a river.
This is a key leadership position for a complex major infrastructure program that will shape the Territory’s future. The Senior Director will play a pivotal role leading a professional and multidisciplined team to solve complex challenges, oversee innovative pre-construction design, program integration and delivery strategy development for a unique and career defining project.

- Provide strategic leadership and high-level advice on complex program delivery, governance, procurement and engineering design.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative and best practice project development outcomes.

- Manage strategic relationships across government, industry and community stakeholders.
