The Project

Sydney Metro West is a transformational 24 km underground railway connecting Sydney CBD to Parramatta, with stations at Westmead, Parramatta, Sydney Olympic Park, North Strathfield, Burwood North, Five Dock, The Bays, Pyrmont and Hunter Street. The Linewide package connects the entire system, delivering the critical rail infrastructure and technology that bring the metro network to life.

The Role

John Holland is seeking experienced Supervisors to join the Sydney Metro West Linewide Project. As a Supervisor you will work in our Tunnel Infrastructure Team, responsible for leading and driving the day-to-day productivity on site.

We are looking for Supervisors with the following experience:

- Structures
- Civil/Track

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily tunnel works and ensure adherence to project designs.
- A strong focus on safety, conduct toolbox talks, and enforce HSE regulations.
- Monitor quality, resolve defects, and maintain accurate site records.
- Coordinate with teams to meet deadlines and manage resources effectively.
- Report progress and address issues with stakeholders.
- Suncontractor and Stakeholder management.

About You

- Trade Qualification or relevant industry experience.
- Strong stakeholder and interface skills.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Experience working on major projects is desirable.
- Experience with Concrete, Structures, Track, Civil and Cross Passages.
- Construction experience in a similar role would be desired.
- Substantial industry experience in Trades and Construction.
- Skilled in the review of design documents, ability to understand drawings, provide constructability review and implement final design plans.
