About the Role:
NGUYEN INDUSTRIES PTY LTD is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Multimedia Designer to join its team, offering a salary range of AUD $80,000 – $90,000 per annum plus superannuation. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, and producing engaging multimedia content for digital marketing campaigns, websites, social media platforms, advertising materials, and client presentations. The role requires strong creative, technical, and communication skills with the ability to transform concepts into compelling visual experiences using industry-standard multimedia software and technologies.
Responsibilities
1. Determine the objectives, scope, and constraints of multimedia design projects by consulting with clients and key stakeholders.
2. Undertake research and analyse functional communication requirements to develop effective multimedia and visual communication solutions.
3. Plan and design the layout and structure of digital multimedia projects for use across advertising campaigns, educational presentations, websites, and social media platforms.
4. Formulate creative design concepts that effectively communicate the intended message and meet client objectives.
5. Prepare sketches, wireframes, diagrams, illustrations, storyboards, mock-ups, and layouts to present and communicate design concepts.
6. Negotiate design solutions with clients, management, marketing, sales, and production teams to achieve project objectives.
7. Use specialised software together with static and animated graphics, text, photographs, video, audio, and interactive elements to produce multimedia content for intended audiences and business purposes.
8. Develop multimedia prototypes, mock-ups, and storyboards incorporating voice, images, video,
animation, and text.
9. Research, evaluate, select, specify, and recommend appropriate software, tools, technologies, materials, and media for multimedia production, publication, delivery, and display.
10. Design and produce digital graphics, illustrations, promotional materials, branding assets, and visual content for digital and print media.
11. Create, edit, and enhance videos, animations, motion graphics, and audio content for marketing campaigns and client projects.
12. Detail and document approved multimedia designs and technical specifications to support production and implementation.
13. Supervise or undertake multimedia production activities to ensure outputs meet creative, technical, and quality standards.
14. Review, test, refine, archive, and maintain multimedia assets and project information for future client use while ensuring projects are delivered within agreed deadlines and quality expectations.
15. Monitor and analyse the performance of digital advertisements, websites, and multimedia content using relevant metrics, and refine visual designs to improve user engagement, campaign effectiveness, and business outcomes.
16. Establish, organise, and maintain a structured digital asset management system for project files, templates, images, videos, and other multimedia resources to support efficient storage, retrieval, and reuse.
17. Liaise and coordinate with external vendors, including print providers, freelance creatives, copywriters, photographers, videographers, and voice-over artists, to ensure outsourced deliverables meet project specifications, brand standards, quality expectations, and budget requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visual Communication, Animation, Interactive Media, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 year of relevant experience in multimedia design, digital media production, graphic design, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign,
After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other relevant multimedia software.
- Demonstrated experience producing multimedia content for websites, digital marketing campaigns, social media, and online advertising.
- Sound Knowledge of visual design principles, typography, colour theory, branding, and user experience (UX) concepts.
- Experience in video editing, motion graphics, animation, and audio editing.
- Familiarity with web technologies and multimedia formats suitable for digital platforms.
- Strong creative thinking, conceptual design, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital collaboration tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a creative team environment.

- Experience analysing the performance of digital content, advertisements, and multimedia campaigns using relevant metrics (e.g., click-through rates, engagement, and video watch time) to optimise creative outcomes.
- Ability to maintain an organised digital asset management system, including archiving project files, templates, images, videos, and other multimedia resources for efficient retrieval and reuse.
