We are seeking a Credit Analyst to join the Corporate & Institutional Banking team of a leading international bank. Supporting Relationship Managers and senior credit professionals, you will undertake detailed financial analysis, prepare credit submissions, assess lending opportunities and monitor a diverse portfolio of corporate clients across a range of industries. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your credit expertise within a global banking environment, working on complex domestic and cross-border transactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse corporate financial statements, cash flow, business performance and industry dynamics to assess borrower creditworthiness.
- Prepare comprehensive credit papers and recommendations for new lending, annual reviews, amendments and refinancing transactions.
- Conduct financial modelling, including cash flow forecasting, leverage analysis and debt service capacity assessments.
- Assess key credit risks, identify mitigating factors and recommend appropriate transaction structures and security arrangements.
- Monitor an assigned portfolio, reviewing covenant compliance, financial performance and emerging credit risks.
- Support the execution of corporate lending transactions including bilateral, club and syndicated facilities.
- Liaise with Relationship Managers, Risk, Legal, Operations and external stakeholders throughout the credit approval process.
- Undertake industry,



market and peer analysis to support lending decisions.
- Ensure credit applications comply with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements and delegated lending authorities.
- Assist with portfolio reporting, risk grading, stress testing and watchlist management.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to ongoing relationship management activities.
- Support process improvement initiatives and maintain high-quality credit documentation.

Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years' experience in credit analysis, corporate banking, institutional banking or commercial lending.
- Robust understanding of financial statement analysis and corporate credit assessment.
- Experience analysing lending transactions across corporate, property, infrastructure or diversified industry sectors is advantageous.
- Strong financial modelling and Excel skills.
- Understanding of lending structures including revolving facilities, term loans, acquisition finance and trade finance is desirable.
- Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and clients in a collaborative environment.
