Are you an experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure professional looking to work on large-scale enterprise and government transformation programs?

A leading global consultancy is seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administrator to join their growing cloud practice. This is a permanent opportunity where you'll play a key role in designing, administering and optimising Oracle Cloud environments for complex enterprise clients while working alongside highly skilled architects, engineers and delivery teams.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of cloud architecture, infrastructure administration, operational excellence and continuous improvement across mission‑critical Oracle environments.

What you'll be doing

- Design, provision and administer Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments including compute, storage, networking, security and governance.
- Manage and optimise OCI environments, ensuring they remain secure, resilient, scalable and highly available.
- Support ongoing operational improvements, infrastructure upgrades and cloud optimisation initiatives.
- Administer Windows and Linux server environments, including patching, scripting, hardening and ongoing platform support.
- Configure and maintain secure cloud networking including VCNs, subnets, VPNs, DNS and load balancing.
- Implement and administer Identity and Access Management (IAM/IDCS) and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
- Support Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and integration between cloud, on‑premise and third‑party systems.
- Monitor platform health, performance and availability while contributing to High Availability and Disaster Recovery strategies.
- Perform capacity planning, backup and recovery,



monitoring and performance tuning across enterprise environments.
- Collaborate with architects, project teams and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable and cost‑effective cloud solutions.

About you

You'll bring strong Oracle Cloud administration experience together with excellent troubleshooting skills and a passion for delivering reliable enterprise infrastructure.

Essential experience

- 10+ years' experience administering Oracle environments, including Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, EPM and OIC).
- Robust hands‑on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Experience administering Windows and Linux environments.
- Knowledge of OCI networking, security and governance.
- Experience with cloud monitoring, logging and observability tools.
- Understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and middleware technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills across infrastructure and applications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Highly regarded

- Experience with OCI IaaS and PaaS services, including Autonomous Database and Exadata Cloud Service.
- Experience designing highly available and disaster recovery solutions.
- Cloud optimisation, architecture design and cost management experience.
- Previous experience working within Australian Government or public sector environments.
