About the Business This global SaaS business has spent the last few years bringing together multiple products into a single platform that supports thousands of professional services firms globally. The platform is now established. The focus has shifted to its long-term direction, deciding which customer problems it should solve, where the business should invest, and how the broader ecosystem evolves over the next three to five years. This role will play a key part in shaping those decisions. About the Role This newly created Principal Product Manager role has been established to help define the future direction of one of the company's most strategically important product ecosystems. Reporting into senior Product leadership, you'll define the long-term strategy, vision, and commercial direction for a platform used by thousands of businesses globally. The product already exists. The challenge now is determining how it evolves, where the business should invest, and how the wider portfolio comes together around a clear customer and commercial strategy. You'll help define: Which customer problems and capabilities the platform should own. Where the business should invest, consolidate, or retire products. What should be built internally, acquired, or delivered through strategic partnerships. How the ecosystem should be positioned, packaged, and monetised.



How AI and automation should shape the future customer experience. How the platform supports growth across Australia, the UK, and North America. How multiple products and teams come together to create a seamless customer experience. You'll operate across the portfolio, bringing together customer insight, market understanding, commercial thinking, and product strategy to influence long-term investment decisions. While you'll work closely with delivery teams, your primary focus will be helping the business decide where to play, what to prioritise, and why. About You We're looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys solving large, complex product challenges. You'll likely bring: Experience defining strategy for platform, ecosystem, marketplace, or SaaS products. Strong portfolio thinking with the ability to connect multiple products around a common vision. Commercial acumen across pricing, packaging, monetisation, investment, or growth strategy. Experience making build, buy, or partner decisions. The ability to connect customer problems, business objectives, and product investment decisions. A track record of turning complex, ambiguous opportunities into clear, executable product strategies. Strong product discovery, customer research, and market validation capabilities. The ability to influence senior stakeholders and align multiple teams around a shared direction. Experience within accounting software, fintech, workflow software, professional services technology, or B2B SaaS environments will be highly regarded but is not essential.
