The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport & Logistics Services Manager to join our growing team based in West Perth. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will lead our Transport, Logistics and Facilities functions, ensuring secure, efficient and commercially focused solutions that support both current operations and future business growth. This is a strategic leadership role where you'll drive continuous improvement, strengthen capability and support the continued growth of the department. Occasional travel to our Pilbara operations, including Newman and Port Hedland, will be required to support operational activities and build strong relationships with site teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the Transport, Logistics and Facilities teams to deliver safe, high-performing and commercially focused services that support operational excellence and business growth.
- Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, building strong client relationships and positioning the department to secure new contracts.
- Develop and implement strategies that expand service capability, support successful tender submissions and enable sustainable long-term growth.
- Ensure compliance with Heavy Vehicle Accreditation, Chain of Responsibility legislation and company standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify new opportunities, expand service offerings and support business growth.
- Partner with Commercial, Finance and Operations teams to support tenders, pricing strategies and commercial outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement through performance reporting, forecasting and KPI management to optimise service delivery and reduce operating costs.
- Manage asset maintenance, fleet planning and governance to maximise operational availability and minimise risk.

You're an experienced leader with a strong background in transport, logistics or supply chain operations within the resources sector. You combine operational expertise with a commercial mindset, leveraging industry relationships to identify opportunities, build client partnerships and drive business growth.

As a hands-on leader, you hold yourself and your team accountable, empower others to succeed and take pride in delivering results. You lead by example, communicate effectively and build high-performing teams that deliver safe, efficient and customer-focused outcomes.

You will also bring:

- Extensive leadership experience in transport, logistics, warehousing or supply chain management.
- Strong commercial and operational acumen, with demonstrated experience business cases and strategies to improve revenue and profitability.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Heavy Vehicle Management Systems, Chain of Responsibility and relevant transport legislation.
- Experience managing transport fleets, logistics assets and whole-of-life asset management.
- Proven ability to build strong client, supplier and stakeholder relationships that support long-term business growth
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with a focus on continuous improvement.
- An extensive industry network and proven ability to build strategic relationships that support business development, win new work and drive sustainable growth.
