Personal Carer Traineeship | BlueCare | Community Care
Employment Status: Permanent Part Time
Location: Atherton, Mareeba & Surrounding Areas
Remuneration: $32.69 p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM’s)
The Program:
Complete a Certificate 3 in Individual Support with us, while you earn an income. We’ll connect you with government funding, so you complete the certificate at no cost.
About the role:
As a Personal Carer Trainee, you’ll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life. Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one‑on‑one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan Supporting with community based recreational and social activities Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.
Role requirements:
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum)
- Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work-
- Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
- Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
