Power and Water Corporation is a Northern Territory Government (NTG) owned utility that operates across a geographic area of 1.3 million square kilometres and within a range of diverse environmental conditions, ranging from the arid dry of the central desert to the tropical monsoon of the top end. The corporation generates, transmits and distributes electricity, supplies water and wastewater treatment services across the Northern Territory (NT) for the benefit of residents, including remote and isolated Aboriginal communities and outstations.

We are looking for a Technical Coordinator (Electrical) to join our team in supporting the delivery of essential services across the NT.

As a Technical Coordinator (Electrical), working across diesel generation, utility-scale solar, battery storage and power distribution systems, you will provide technical expertise and project management support for the operation, maintenance and improvement of remote power systems throughout the NT.

Working across regional and remote locations,



you will investigate faults, manage maintenance programs, supervise contractors, deliver capital works projects and contribute to the ongoing reliability of critical electricity infrastructure.

Travel is a significant and rewarding component of this role. You will regularly visit remote communities by road, air and occasionally sea, experiencing some of the most unique landscapes and cultures Australia has to offer. No two days are the same.

The ideal candidate will be a licenced electrician with experience working in asset maintenance, or utility operations, who is able to solve complex technical problems, working on critical infrastructure, and travelling to some of the NT's most remote and spectacular locations.

Power and Water is seeking a motivated and capable Technical Coordinator (Electrical) to help deliver reliable power supplies to remote Indigenous communities across the NT.
