Located in Sydney CBD NSW 2000, Primi Italian is currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Trade Waiter to join their professional hospitality team. Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and seating customers while providing friendly, qualified, and attentive table service.
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and ensuring timely communication with the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serving food and drinks in accordance with restaurant standards and maintaining excellent customer service throughout the dining experience.
- Preparing dining areas before service and ensuring tables are cleaned and reset efficiently.
- Processing customer payments and handling point-of-sale transactions accurately.
- Recommending menu items, daily specials, and beverages while responding to customer enquiries.
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of dining and service areas in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Working collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
About you:
- At least one year of relevant experience as a Trade Waiter or in a similar hospitality role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Sound knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Professional presentation and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Job Type: Permanent/Full-time Salary: $75,000 - $83,000 per annum.
