Bathers' Pavilion Bathers' Pavilion, Sydney's most iconic beachside restaurant, is located at Balmoral Beach just 20 minutes from the city. Bathers' has a two hatted Restaurant, busy upmarket Bistro, Thai Restaurant, Function Room, Kiosk and Art Gallery.

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic full time Senior Chef de Partie to help drive and support our Pastry Kitchen. The successful candidate should have a minimum of two - three years experience in a similar role and will be assisting the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in executing a high quality product. The position is full time and shifts will include weekend and evening work.

Applicants should have resident status or hold an appropriate fulltime Australian work visa. We see this as permanent long term position so no working holiday or student visas. Only successful candidates will be contacted.

Task & responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY : The senior chef de partie works within the kitchen operations in the various departments and oversees the production a specific section kitchen or several as determined by the head chef or sous chef. They control chefs, cooks, and apprentices. They report to the Sous Chefs Head Chef and Executive Chefs.





They help control stock inventories, food preparation and food service. They ensure the mise en place is ready for their kitchen sections They maintain cleanliness of the kitchen especially the work benches, the equipment, walls, and floor. They ensure cool rooms are well stocked and the food is wrapped, labelled, and dated.

They supervise the production and services of all food dishes from salads, sandwiches, oysters, cold plates, pizza, and/or pasta, hot dishes, canapes, and desserts on their section. Where necessary they advise and or organise trade to repair broken services or equipment and assist in maintenance duties Qualification & experience Qualifications: Trade qualifications and 2-3 years relevant work experience in the same role About Company Bathers’ Pavilion offers a unique dining experience for all occasions.
