As our team expands, we are currently looking for dedicated and experienced Disability Support Workers to support one of our high-needs NDIS participants in Raceview, QLD. About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and skilled support workers to provide 1:1 in-home care to a participant who requires a high level of support and is primarily bedridden. You will assist with: Personal care
Hoisting and manual handling Meal preparation Household tasks
Community access and attending a day program Attending medical and other appointments This position requires two support workers at most times due to the complexity of care.
Female workers with hoist and manual handling experience are strongly preferred. Shifts Available: 8–10 hours or 8–12 hours per shift Preferred availability: Between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM; 2:00 - 10:00 PM
Key Requirements Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care,
or Mental Health At least 6 months’ experience supporting individuals with disability
Experience in SIL and/or STA settings (advantageous) Manual handling and hoist experience (essential) Female applicants strongly preferred for this role
Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain) Valid Blue Card (Working with Children) Current
First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificate COVID-19 fully vaccinated Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Must be willing to travel to Raceview, QLD Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module and Infection Control Training Excellent communication skills; English must be first language
Preferably Australian citizens only Able to provide 2–3 professional, industry-related references Please note:
