Job Description

ArteStone Kenthurst pty ltd The Stone Mason / Fabricator is responsible for manufacturing and finishing high-quality stone benchtops, splashbacks, and custom stone products. This role involves measuring, cutting, polishing, assembling, and quality-checking natural and engineered stone materials using bridge saws, CNC machinery, hand tools, and polishing equipment.

The position requires the ability to interpret technical drawings, maintain strict quality standards, operate machinery safely, and collaborate with production and installation teams to ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements. Loading and unloading bridge saws and CNC machines safely and efficiently.

Reading project drawings and job sheets to accurately quality check stone benchtops. Measuring, marking and preparing stone slabs according to project specifications and production requirements. Operating bridge saws, CNC machinery, polishing equipment and hand tools to cut, shape and finish stone products.

Joining, assembling and bonding stone components to manufacture benchtops, splashbacks and other stone products. Cutting, polishing and joining stone kitchen benchtops. Inspecting finished stone products to ensure dimensions, workmanship, finish quality and specifications meet company and customer requirements.





Conducting quality checks throughout the fabrication process and identifying defects or production issues requiring corrective action. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment and complying with workplace health and safety procedures, including the safe handling of natural and engineered stone materials. Performing routine maintenance, cleaning and minor adjustments to machinery, tools and equipment to ensure efficient operation.

Handling, lifting and moving stone slabs and finished products using appropriate lifting equipment and secure manual handling techniques. Collaborating with production, scheduling and installation teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and within required timeframes. Monitoring material usage and minimising waste while maintaining production efficiency and quality standards.

Assisting with the fabrication of custom stone products and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with technical drawings, specifications and company procedures. Qualification & experience Certificate III or at least 3 years' proven experience in the stonemasonry industry, specialising in kitchen and bathroom stone benchtops. Pristine accuracy skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Fantastic time management and organizational skills

About Company Established in 2018, ArteStone has expanded to three locations, with Rouse Hill being our most recent opening in June 2025. We have amassed the knowledge, experience, and processes needed to continue growing at a rapid pace, fabricating and installing stone benchtops to our clients in the kitchen and building industry, and individuals renovating/building their own home. We service most of greater Sydney, up to 1.5 hours from our factory.
