Your new role As Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level support to a senior executive leader and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the executive office.
This is a busy and varied position involving diary management, meeting coordination, preparation of agendas and executive documentation, stakeholder liaison, and tracking key actions and priorities. You will work closely with senior leaders, governance teams, elected representatives and internal stakeholders, ensuring deadlines are met and executive operations run efficiently. The role requires a proactive and highly organised professional who can confidently manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
While minute-taking is not a core focus, the preparation and coordination of executive and council-style meetings will form an important part of the position. This is an initial contract opportunity 3-6 months with the potential for further opportunities. What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or Senior Administrator supporting executive-level stakeholders Exceptional organisational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines High level of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail A proactive approach and willingness to support a busy leadership team
Experience within the public sector or local government is advantageous but not essential. Candidates from corporate, professional services, not-for-profit or other complex environments are encouraged to apply. What you'll get in return
