About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Cyber Security GRC Manager within the IT Cyber Security & Risk function, the Cyber Security Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Specialist supports the delivery of cyber security governance, risk and compliance activities across AGIG’s technology environments.

Working collaboratively with Cyber Security, IT and business stakeholders, you’ll contribute to cyber risk assessments, third-party cyber security risk management, compliance monitoring and the ongoing improvement of cyber security governance frameworks, policies and processes. This role provides an prospect to build your expertise while helping to strengthen the cyber resilience of AGIG’s critical technology environments.

This is a flexible location role and can be based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, or Perth.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the delivery of cyber security governance, risk and compliance activities by partnering with Cyber Security, IT and business stakeholders to identify, assess and manage cyber security risks across AGIG’s technology environments.
- Coordinate cyber security risk assessments by gathering information, following up on evidence,



supporting assessment activities and helping communicate assessment outcomes to stakeholders.
- Assist with third-party cyber security risk management by engaging with vendors, facilitating security assessments and supporting the tracking of remediation activities.
- Maintain cyber security governance documentation, including risk registers, compliance registers, third-party records, policies, standards and procedures, ensuring information is accurate, current and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
- Support compliance and assurance activities through evidence collection, compliance monitoring and the preparation of reports, dashboards and briefing materials for stakeholders.
- Provide guidance on cyber security governance processes, policies and standards to internal stakeholders, escalating complex matters where appropriate and promoting consistent ways of working.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of cyber security GRC practices by identifying opportunities and implementing enhancements to processes, reporting, tools and operational efficiency while supporting AGIG’s governance framework and regulatory obligations.

About You

- Experience conducting cyber security, risk, compliance or assurance activities across technology environments.
- An understanding of cyber security governance, risk and compliance principles, including risk identification, assessment, treatment and compliance monitoring.
- Experience conducting third-party or supplier cyber security risk assessments, including evidence collection, documentation and remediation tracking.
- Working knowledge of recognised cyber security frameworks such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST Cyber Security Framework, Essential Eight, and AESCSF.
- Experience working with cyber security GRC tools, risk registers, compliance tracking or third-party risk management platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document risks,



controls and assessment outcomes and build effective stakeholder relationships.
- A tertiary qualification (completed or in progress) in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Risk Management or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
