Senior Building Services Engineer - Complex Commercial New Build - Sydney

Building Services Engineer role with a leading Tier 2 commercial builder delivering a major complex commercial new build project in Sydney.

With a strong pipeline of secured work across technical, health, education and commercial projects, this builder has built a reputation for successfully delivering technically challenging projects with a collaborative, well-resourced team environment.

This role will see you working on a large-scale, services-intensive project, supporting the delivery of all building services packages from procurement through to commissioning and handover.

The Role:

- Manage and coordinate all services trades (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire)
- Review design documentation and drive buildability and value engineering outcomes
- Lead services procurement, scope alignment and subcontractor engagement




- Oversee installation to ensure compliance with programme, quality and safety requirements
- Work closely with the Project Manager and Site Team to integrate services with structure and finishes
- Support commissioning, authority approvals and final handover

Required experience:

- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services or similar
- 3+ years’ experience working for a head contractor or Tier 1 subcontractor as a Building Services Engineer
- Experience delivering complex commercial new build projects valued $10M+
- Robust understanding of services coordination and commissioning
- Confident managing subcontractors and consultant relationships
- Sound knowledge of the NSW construction market
