Bechtel is providing a wide variety project and contract management services, crossing all disciplines, to customers in Western Australia to support exciting capital works programmes, including in aviation, defence and energy infrastructure.



We are looking for people to join us in a long-term relationship to deliver these services in and around Perth where we are working within integrated teams with our customers and to help build Bechtel’s capabilities for even greater opportunities in the future.

Job Summary:

As a Project Risk Management qualified at Bechtel, you will provide expert execution capabilities of project risk management activities. You will provide oversight, training and mentoring of project risk specialists and risk analysts toward project and corporate objectives. You will collate risk intelligence and associated best practices to distribute throughout the project.

Major Responsibilities:

You will report to the Risk Manager and be responsible for supporting Project Risk Management (PRM) and relevant internal and external stakeholders in PRM matters across the project. The role requires interpersonal skills with ability to drive focus on PRM, influence without authority and tie PRM with key interfaces across the project scope.

- Supports implementation of the project risk management program across the project.

- Responsible for the development, deployment, and management of PRM data collection, dashboards, analysis tools and reports.

- Responsible for quantitative risk analysis (schedule and cost) for the assigned program or project.

- Supports the enterprise analysis of project risks.

- Support and maintain risk activities to ensure alignment with the risk management plan.

coordinates and runs risk workshops on projects.

Education and Experience Requirements:

- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

- Skill in working and communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, with other project functional groups.

- Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members.

- Demonstrated experience in qualitative and quantitative risk management is necessary.

- Experience in the infrastructure / heavy civil / aviation / renewables / construction industries advantageous

- May assist less-experienced team members
