Your Opportunity - Short Course Facilitator

TAFE Queensland Gold Coast are seeking an industry professional to contribute to developing and delivering quality learning services to a wide range of clients. This is a casual role based at Coomera Creative Campus; however, you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.

As the Short Course Facilitator, you will be responsible for:

- Maintaining currency with industry practices;
- As the content expert, take ownership of the delivery of your non-accredited courses.
- Working in an environment of change and continuous improvement.

This position reports to the Short Course Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

- Display teaching competence and confidence in leading your classroom and students throughout the duration of the course.
- Deliver the course Face to Face on campus.




- Develop and maintain course resources for students.
- Utilise various resources and adapt to meet your students’ learning needs throughout the course duration.
- Develop effective working relationships with students.
- Ensure that students develop and practice accepted safety procedures in a learning workplace.
- Model and actively promote an ethical and safe work environment that supports a culture of zero harm and best practice regarding health, safety, wellness and sustainability.

Mandatory requirements:

- High level of AutoCAD knowledge and experience

Highly Desirable Requirements

- TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
