We're looking for an experienced Qualified Carpenter to join a busy maintenance and construction team working across a variety of council assets and infrastructure. If you enjoy diverse work, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and value a Monday to Friday schedule, we'd love to hear from you!
*$45.80 per hour + Super
* Monday to Friday | 6:30am - 3:30pm
* Temp to Perm opportunity

Your Day Will Include:
* Constructing, repairing and maintaining buildings and public infrastructure.
* Completing carpentry works to plans, specifications and quality standards.
* Performing building maintenance across a range of council assets.
* Reading and interpreting building, drainage and pavement plans.
* Conducting risk assessments and following safe work procedures.
* Ensuring all work complies with relevant legislation,
Australian Standards and WHS requirements.
* Working collaboratively with a skilled team to deliver projects safely, efficiently and on time
✅ What You'll Need:
*Certificate III in Carpentry
* Demonstrated experience in construction, maintenance and general carpentry.
* Current White Card
* Current Australian Driver's Licence.
* Ability to obtain a Working at Heights Certificate
* Ability to obtain First Aid Certification
* Robust understanding of safe work practices and risk management.
* Reliable, safety-focused and committed to delivering quality workmanship.
⭐ Bonus Points If You Have:
Class B Asbestos Removal Licence** (Workplace Health & Safety Queensland)
You will need Safety Boots, Hi Viz Vest, Long sleeve shirt and long pants
