Summary

An exciting opportunity to join a high-profile enterprise organisation to drive critical enterprise-wide security projects aimed at uplifting the organization's overarching security posture and hygiene. As a key contributor within the architecture team, you will shape secure reference architectures and deliver end-to-end solutions that protect complex systems from conceptual design through to operational handover. Applying a DevSecOps mindset and a robust Zero Trust approach, you will partner with cross-functional delivery teams and business stakeholders to embed best-in-class security controls, elevate threat detection capabilities, and enable resilient, scalable growth.

Key Criteria

- 5+ years of experience in IT solution build, design, or architecture, with a strong focus on cyber security operations, SIEM/SOAR, and cloud security.
- Extensive experience architecting and implementing SecOps platforms utilizing tools like Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk ES, Splunk SOAR, and Cloud Workload Protection.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise cloud environments including AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, and M365 Security Services.
- Solid understanding of threat modeling, exposure management, and industry security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK;, NIST, ISO 27000 series, and ASD Essential 8.
- Demonstrated experience with architecture frameworks like TOGAF or SABSA and tooling such as LeanIX.




- Relevant security certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, AZ-500, or SC-100).
- Robust stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills to influence adoption across both technical and business domains.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver robust end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise environment and embed systems securely into the broader enterprise integration landscape.
- Define and drive secure implementation strategies for cloud platforms, ensuring alignment across Identity & Access Management, Threat Protection, Cloud Security, and Information Protection.
- Architect, optimize, and scale SIEM and SOAR solutions (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk ES, Logic Apps) for enhanced threat detection, incident response, and security analytics.
- Develop and maintain enterprise security reference architectures, policies, DLP frameworks, and reusable security design patterns.
- Champion Zero Trust principles, security-by-design, and continuous vulnerability and exposure management across hybrid cloud ecosystems.
- Provide expert advisory and consulting services across business and technical domains to resolve architecture challenges and support stage-gate governance processes.
