As South Australia keeps growing, an opportunity is now available for a Senior Estimator to play a pivotal role within the pre-construction team,



leading tenders and helping secure some of the state's most significant commercial projects.

The Role

As Senior Estimator, you will take ownership of major tenders from initial review through to submission and handover. Working closely with the Estimating Manager, senior leadership, and delivery teams, you will help develop competitive tender strategies and contribute to securing the business's future pipeline.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading end-to-end tender submissions across major commercial projects
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation to develop accurate pricing
- Preparing detailed cost plans, quantity take-offs and scope packages
- Managing subcontractor, supplier pricing and tender coverage
- Identifying project risks, opportunities, and value management solutions
- Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
- Supporting tender interviews, clarifications, and negotiations
- Mentoring and supporting junior members of the estimating team
- Coordinating successful handovers from estimating through to project delivery

The Like Mind

You will be an experienced Estimator ready to take ownership of significant tenders and contribute at a senior level within an established commercial builder.

You will bring:





- 6+ years' estimating experience within commercial construction
- Experience estimating medium to large-scale new build projects
- Knowledge of tendering, cost planning and commercial construction methodologies
- The ability to confidently manage complex tenders from commencement through to submission
- Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Established subcontractor and industry relationships within the local market
- A collaborative approach and the ability to support and mentor less experienced team members
