About The Role

The purpose of the Senior Business Analyst is to implement and maintain best practice business analysis competencies, ensuring consistent methodology application and building team capability to support departmental project delivery and service improvement initiatives.

This role plays a critical part translating business needs into actionable requirements and facilitating effective stakeholder engagement. It is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects that enhance service delivery.

In addition, the role provides leadership, guidance and supervision to business analysts.

Day To Day Responsibilities Include

- Apply and maintain standardised business analysis methodologies, tools and templates
- Lead complex business analysis initiatives across multiple projects and business units
- Supervise, mentor and develop direct report business analysts
- Facilitate workshops,



requirements gathering sessions, and process analysis activities to support service delivery improvements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for service delivery improvement and process enhancement.
- Conduct analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and risk evaluations for departmental initiatives and support business case development and contribute to change management activities

About You

You will have extensive experience of progressive business analysis experience in a complex organisational environment and hold a current and relevant business analysis professional certification (CBAP,CCBA,PMI-PBA, or equivalent)

The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

- Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience of managing staff
- Proven experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation
- Experience facilitating workshops, stakeholder consultations, and process improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in project delivery within structured project management frameworks.
- Shows resilience and adaptability managing competing priorities and changing requirements
- Proficiency with business analysis and modelling tools
