Having established strong HR foundations, they are now seeking an HR Director who can elevate the function, strengthen organisational capability, and build a high-performing, people-first culture across both Head Office and Retail operations.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the executive leadership team, you will act as a trusted strategic advisor while remaining hands-on in delivering key people initiatives. You will play a critical role in shaping organisational design, talent strategy, leadership capability, employee engagement, and cultural transformation, ensuring the business continues to attract, develop and retain exceptional talent.
Working within a highly collaborative, matrixed global setting, you'll influence stakeholders locally and internationally, bringing a commercial and forward-thinking approach to every aspect of the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the executive leadership team to align people strategy with business objectives.
- Lead organisational design and workforce planning initiatives to support future growth.
- Champion culture, leadership development, and employee engagement across corporate and retail teams.
- Coach and influence senior leaders on people, performance, and organisational effectiveness.
- Drive succession planning,
talent management, and leadership capability programs.
- Ensure HR policies, governance, and employment practices remain compliant with local legislation.
- Lead performance management, remuneration reviews, and employee relations matters.
- Collaborate with global HR teams to deliver consistent people initiatives across the wider business.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance employee experience, and build organisational capability.
- Lead and inspire the HR team while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
About You
You are an accomplished HR executive who enjoys operating at both strategic and operational levels. Comfortable navigating complexity, you naturally build credibility with senior stakeholders and have a genuine passion for developing high-performing organisations.
You will bring:
- Significant experience in a senior HR leadership role within an international or multinational organisation.
- Experience working within a matrixed business structure across multiple regions.
- A strong background partnering with executive leadership teams and influencing business strategy.
- Demonstrated success leading organisational design, cultural transformation, and change initiatives.
- Deep knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Experience supporting both corporate and retail populations is highly regarded.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and coaching skills.
- A commercial mindset with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
- A collaborative leadership style with a genuine passion for people and culture.
