Business Development Manager – Holiday Rental Listings

Peninsular Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow our portfolio of holiday rental and short-term accommodation properties across the Gold Coast.

Your primary focus will be identifying, approaching and converting property owners who are looking for professional short-term rental management services.

This is not an entry-level role. We are seeking someone with a proven record of signing new property owners, listings, management agreements or comparable clients.

The role offers flexibility to work from home. However, regular owner meetings, property visits and attendance at our Surfers Paradise office every Thursday will be required.

Remuneration

Base salary of $85,000–$100,000 plus Super, depending on experience and demonstrated results

Attractive commission for each new property successfully signed and launched

Uncapped commission

Target of approximately two to three new properties per month

A higher package may be considered for an exceptional candidate with strong industry connections and a proven record of portfolio growth

Key Responsibilities

Generate new holiday rental and short-term accommodation management opportunities

Build relationships with property owners, investors, developers, real estate agents and referral partners

Prospect through calls, emails, networking, referrals and face-to-face meetings

Meet prospective owners and present our management services

Prepare proposals and negotiate management agreements

Manage leads from initial contact through to signing and successful onboarding

Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups and expected conversions

Build referral relationships with real estate agencies, buyers’ agents and industry contacts

Work with the operations team to ensure new properties are onboarded smoothly





Provide weekly pipeline and performance updates

Monitor the Gold Coast short-term rental market and identify new opportunities

About You

You will need:

Proven experience in business development, real estate sales, property management portfolio growth, holiday rentals or a related industry

A demonstrated record of securing new owners, listings, clients or management agreements

Strong knowledge of the Gold Coast property market

Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills

The ability to work independently and manage your own sales pipeline

Strong prospecting, follow-up and conversion skills

A professional, trustworthy and results-focused approach

A current Australian driver licence and reliable transport

Full Australian working rights

Experience in holiday rentals, short-term accommodation, management rights, serviced apartments or residential property management will be highly regarded.

This position is intended for an experienced business development professional and is not suitable for applicants seeking their first sales or property industry role.

The number of properties, listings, clients or management agreements personally secured

The period over which those results were achieved

The market or industry in which they worked

Any relevant Gold Coast property or referral networks
