The Company: ELESERVE is an established Electrical and Communications Company. We are a family owned business with a great reputation within the industry. Our team is growing, enthusiastic and a close knit group. We are currently looking for Senior Mobile Communications Technician to join our team within our Telecommunications division.

The role: This role requires you to be adaptable, flexible and proactive.

Key responsibilities

- Install fixed & wireless network equipment & setup new telecommunications services
- Mentor other mobile communication technicians
- Ensure that equipment & circuit installations are of high quality
- Place or terminate cables, including those made of optical fibre
- Install & maintain telecommunication & other data systems
- Install, test & maintain all types of telecommunications, switching & transmission equipment
- Proactively plan, track, coordinate & run assigned project tasks
- Set up computer hardware & install & customise software applications used in mobile telecommunications
- Analyse system faults with a high degree of diagnostic skill

The successful candidate will need to meet the following requirements to be shortlisted:

Requirements

- Must have experience working on Telstra, 4G/5G /LTE RBS/BTS Equipment as well as Microwave radios
- Able to go by clients specifications, standards and HSE guidelines




- Excellent communications skills
- Can work efficiently both by yourself and as part of a team
- Have good work ethics
- Provide quality installation following applicable standards and be competent in troubleshooting
- Able to read and interpret clearly technical design documents, and implement/install equipment as per design, and propose changes for effective project delivery
- Have experience working with Ericsson equipment
- Able to technically assist riggers in office
- Able to use PIM tester and spectrum analyser (or site master) respectively for PIM testing & feeder sweep
- Liaise with NOC team to clear alarms such as VSWR, RTWP etc
- Minimum 10 years experience in the industry
- Appropriately skilled with MS applications including excel and word
- Be available to work full-time Monday to Friday (including overtime and weekends as required)
- Must be willing to work away from home (as required) as work is spread out all over NSW or do shift work ie night work ( if required )
