Civil Project Manager - Subdivisions & Road Construction

About the Role

You will oversee the full lifecycle of civil subdivision and road construction projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification. This role suits a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and proven experience managing civil crews, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day project delivery across subdivision and road projects

- Lead project planning, scheduling, resourcing, and cost control

- Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality outcomes

- Monitor progress, budgets, and contract requirements

- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards

- Prepare project reports, variations,



and documentation

- Liaise with clients, councils, consultants, and internal management

- Drive a positive, productive team culture on site

About You

- Must be an Australian Citizen and have Australian experience. Sponsorship not available

- Proven experience as a Civil Project Manager in subdivisions and road construction

- Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, earthworks, pavements, and services installation

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

- Robust commercial awareness and contract administration capability

- Commitment to safety and quality

- Relevant civil engineering or construction qualifications (preferred but not essential)
