A major federal organisation is modernising its technology foundations, uplifting cyber capability, and delivering large-scale transformation programs. We are seeking a Lead Cyber Security Architect (EL2 equivalent) to design secure-by-design environments across critical national systems.
This role is suited to a senior architect who can operate in complex environments, collaborate across diverse stakeholders, and contribute directly to national security outcomes.
The Work You will design and assure enterprise-grade security architectures across cloud, hybrid, network and monitoring domains. The role sits within a technology division responsible for enabling frontline operations, modern platforms, and emerging technology adoption.
Key responsibilities
Designing optimal security solutions for large transformation programs
Producing security architecture documentation and guiding approvals through governance forums
Providing expert cyber technical advice across business units
Building robust relationships across teams and partner organisations
Anticipating,
communicating and resolving security issues across systems and services
Mentoring and coaching less experienced staff
Maintaining currency in modern security practices and contributing to improved ICT processes
