We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to support a major commercial aviation client. This role will provide dedicated architectural capability for a large‑scale Technology Platform program, ensuring continuity, technical leadership, and high‑quality solution design following enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of infrastructure solutions supporting enterprise and aviation‑critical systems.
- Provide architectural oversight across Windows Server, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, AWS AppStream/Workspaces, and associated file, network, and identity platforms.
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and performance expectations aligned with aviation industry requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams to diagnose architectural bottlenecks and define improvements.
- Support the delivery of Technology Wellness and uplift initiatives within the project backlog.
- Maintain architectural governance and ensure all solutions integrate effectively within the broader enterprise workplace.




- Provide continuity of expertise to replace a recently departed architect and ensure uninterrupted progress across ongoing initiatives.

Required Capabilities

- Strong expertise in Windows Server and AWS technologies.
- Deep experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure solutions such as Citrix, VMware Horizon, or similar.
- Hands‑on capability with AWS AppStream/WorkSpaces.
- Solid understanding of file, network, and identity architecture.
- Proven track record delivering solution designs aligned with enterprise standards and security frameworks.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
