Salt has partnered with a global proprietary trading company that is looking for a C# Trading Systems Developer . You will join Futures & Options Team and will have the chance to work closely with traders and the firm’s top technologists.
As a C# Developer you will be responsible for the analysis, design, and development of business-critical trading systems. We are looking for someone who has experience taking projects through the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to production release.
This is a permanent role with the office located in Sydney CBD.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and develop business-critical trading systems.
- Work through the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to production release.
- Collaborate with traders and technologists to deliver robust back-end solutions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with C# development, with a focus on back-end development, OO design, multi-threading, performance, and profiling.
- Prior industry experience is essential.
- Experience in Microservices and Cloud Technologies (preferably Azure Service Fabric, Microsoft Orleans, Envoy Proxy, gRPC, Protobuf, Docker, Kubernetes, Octopus Deploy and ELK Stack).
- Knowledge of or experience in trading, derivatives, risk, pricing is highly regarded.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a technical or related discipline.
