Job Description

Must Have Skills

- Minimum 5 years industry experience in software design, development, and implementations (SDLC) as a full‑stack or back‑end developer.
- Experience in Automations (SDN, Telemetry, SNMP – collection, analysis, reporting, anomaly detection).
- Python programming expertise.
- Debugging and developing legacy code.
- Adding features to existing Perl modules.
- Building custom monitoring or alerting scripts for network events.
- Integrating open‑source plug‑ins / RFCs and APIs.
- Networking and security fundamentals: TCP/IP, firewalls (iptables/nftables), subnetting, routing, NAT, VLANs, virtual IP.
- Network monitoring & troubleshooting; understanding of failover strategies and redundancy.
- SSH, Bash scripting.
- Strong understanding of database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
- Understanding of Galera Cluster concepts, synchronous replication,



replication lag monitoring, failover, and recovery procedures.

Nice to Have Skills

- Build and manage GitLab CI/CD pipeline.
- Experience with Docker / microservices design, development, and deployment.
- Monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios.
- Setting up DNS services.
- Experience working in telco/ISP environments.
- Knowledge of security best practices, vulnerability scanning, SSL/TLS, OAuth.
- Exposure to prompt engineering/workflow AI/ML models and tools such as n8n, Google Opal.
