Field Operator V - WLE_FLD-F

Our Wireline Services team in Australia will provide technical expertise to meet client expectations. As a Field Operator V, you will manage base operations supporting ongoing onshore wireline operations in South Australia.

Responsibilities

- Assisting Service Delivery Coordinator – managing base operations, crew planning, training schedules, base activities, supervision of wireline operations and workshop organization.
- Ensuring equipment is in working condition and inspected according to local regulations.
- Managing record keeping, including pressure control maintenance, lifting, and rigging equipment, wireline and E‑Line unit maintenance and cable histories.
- Assisting with training local personnel, publishing standard operating procedures, facilitating knowledge transfer, and developing local lessons learned.
- Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal compliance requirements and Baker Hughes core values.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or trade background.
- 5‑8 years industry experience in wireline/E‑Line operations.
- Extensive experience managing base operations.




- Supervisory experience in onshore and offshore operations.
- Excellent sense of teamwork, able to effectively manage base operations in support of onshore and offshore environments.
- Familiarity with wireline/E‑Line pressure control equipment.
- Valid driving licence (local or international) and forklift licence.
- Passed IELTS, TOEFL, PTE Academic, Cambridge English Advanced or OET (required for work permit application).
