What You’ll Be Doing

As our Finance Manager, you’ll join a talented finance team while partnering with leaders across the business to turn numbers into better decisions.

You’ll be the financial engine behind one of Australia’s fastest-growing food businesses, helping us make smarter decisions while keeping the numbers as fresh as our donuts.

Your days will include:

- Owning month‑end, Board reporting, budgeting and forecasting—turning numbers into stories that help drive the business.
- Keeping a close eye on cash flow, treasury and working capital to fuel our continued growth.
- Making sure we’re ticking every compliance box, from GST and PAYG to FBT, banking and statutory obligations.
- Leading our audit, tax and insurance processes while keeping our financial controls as solid as our donut recipes.
- Finding smarter, faster and better ways to improve our finance systems, reporting and processes.
- Partnering with leaders across the business to build meaningful KPIs, uncover opportunities and help make great commercial decisions.
- Being the finance guru behind our manufacturing operations—inventory, costing, production planning, profitability and making sure every donut counts.




- Playing a key role in exciting business transformation projects, ERP improvements and helping shape the future of Daniel’s.

Who You Are

You’ll be someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves, solving problems and partnering with the business—not hiding behind a spreadsheet.

You are commercially savvy, naturally curious and happiest when you’re solving problems—not just reporting them.

You know that finance isn’t about saying “no”—it’s about helping the business make smarter decisions.

You’ll also bring:

- 10+ years’ finance experience, ideally in food manufacturing, FMCG, retail or wholesale.
- CA or CPA qualification, with your foundations built in Big 4 or Mid‑Tier Audit.
- Solid technical accounting expertise and a deep understanding of statutory compliance.
- A track record of improving finance processes, systems and internal controls.
- Experience delivering ERP implementations or major business improvement projects.
- Solid financial modelling and analytical skills—you love digging into the “why” behind the numbers.
- The confidence to communicate with everyone from the factory floor to the Boardroom.
- A commercial mindset that turns financial insights into practical actions and better business outcomes.
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves, challenge the status quo and have a laugh along the way.
