Responsibilities

- Oversee the daily running of the perioperative unit, including staff allocation and direction.
- Coordinate patient care through sharing of information with key stakeholders and monitor unit efficiencies.
- Multitask effectively, work within limited timeframes, and motivate a team to achieve common goals.
- Lead and support staff with sound knowledge of anaesthetic and scrub scout principles as well as PACU skills.
- Ensure compliance with NSQHS standards and hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Evidence of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
