Role Description

The SAP Project Manager for S/4HANA Implementation is responsible for managing the day‑to‑day execution of the SAP S/4HANA implementation project, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. The role coordinates project resources, defines scope, tracks progress, manages risks, and works closely with internal teams and external vendors.
Location: Brisbane
Salary: 150,742 – 171,215 Annual Gross
Flexible working arrangements (hybrid, reviewed case‑by‑case).

Roles And Responsibilities

- Project Planning and Execution:
- Lead the planning and execution of SAP S/4HANA implementation projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and business leaders.
- Coordinate project activities, tasks, and resources to achieve goals.

- Stakeholder Management:

- Serve as the main point of contact for all project‑related communications.
- Manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and facilitate decision‑making at all levels.
- Report progress regularly to stakeholders,

- Team Leadership and Coordination:

- Lead and manage the project team, including internal resources, external vendors, and consultants.
- Allocate resources based on project needs, skills, and availability.
- Foster a collaborative environment aligned with common project goals.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to promote professional development.

- Risk and Issue Management:

- Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and resolve project issues proactively.
- Communicate risks and issues to stakeholders for timely resolution.

- Quality Assurance:

- Ensure all aspects of the SAP S/4HANA implementation meet defined quality standards and business requirements.
- Oversee testing and validation to confirm solution operability before deployment.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and document issues and resolutions.

- Project Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, status reports, and issue logs.
- Provide regular status updates to senior management, highlighting accomplishments, risks, and milestones.
- Ensure effective project close‑out with finalized documentation, lessons learned, and post‑implementation support.

Technical Expertise Requirements





- 12‑15 years of project management experience, with 3–5 years leading SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, enterprise‑wide system implementations.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, functionality, and integration with other business systems.
- Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar.
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Additional

- Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or a related field (Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus).
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile) is highly desirable.
