Welcome to Peak Lubricants,

Peak has been blending, packing and selling oil and lubricants for close to 45 years — through our own brands and as a contract manufacturer and toll blender for some of the biggest names in the market. Even if you haven't used a Peak brand personally, it's very likely you've used one of our products through a partner brand.

Despite our established history, our company culture is evolving quickly with recent personnel and a new strategic direction. We operate from two facilities side by side in Dandenong South: our headquarters, where we manufacture, and our distribution centre, where we hold and dispatch finished product.

We are looking for an Operations Manager — one capable, likeable operator working in the business, based at our HQ.

You'll be the person who keeps everything in order and everything moving, with heavy support and oversight from the Directors — which in turn frees them up to go and win the large clients that grow the business.

What you'll own

Our customers. You'll be the relationship owner for our mid-tier private label accounts, working alongside the Directors on the largest ones. You'll make sure all orders land on time, problems get solved before they become complaints, and our customers keep choosing us.

Our operations. You'll lead a small team across production, warehousing, procurement, logistics, sales and administration. You'll project-manage our major orders, oversee our ISO 9001 certification, and keep finding the efficiencies that make us better every quarter.

Our working capital.



You'll approve supplier payments, keep an eye on debtor days and set inventory levels — with our Company Accountant beside you and good tools to work from. You don't need to be an accountant, but you do need to be comfortable with numbers and understand that cash is the scoreboard.

Our strategy. Each month you'll sit down with the Directors, agree the priorities, and then go and execute them.

What we're looking for

- Commercial instincts: you can hold a serious conversation with a $1m customer as comfortably as you can with a forklift driver

- A track record of leading a team of six or more, hands-on, in a business where the manager still knows every customer and every machine

- Practical and pragmatic: good at knowing when to push and when to pull back; and not afraid of making quick or hard decisions

- Strong organisation and follow-through. Not afraid of technology; we run Cin7, MRPEasy and Xero, and we build our own tools on top of them with AI

- Above all, someone likeable with integrity. This is a mid-sized business where the Operations Manager sets the tone.

Nice to haves:

- Experience running the day-to-day of a manufacturing, blending, packing or distribution business

- Experiences in the oils and lubricants business
