About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Telehandler Operator to assist with day-to-day site operations, material movement, and support of trades and site teams on a construction project in Port Botany.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a telehandler safely and efficiently on site
- Loading, unloading and moving materials around the site
- Assisting trades and site personnel with lifting and placement of materials
- Conducting daily pre-starts and basic plant checks
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Following all site safety procedures and directions from supervisors
To Be Successful You Will Need
- Proven experience operating a Telehandler on construction or civil sites
- Valid Telehandler ticket / VOC
- White Card
- Strong understanding of site safety and working around live construction environments
- Ability to complete pre-starts and basic equipment checks
- Reliable transport and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well within a team environment
Highly Regarded
- HR licence
- Additional plant tickets or machinery experience
- Experience working on major infrastructure, civil or industrial projects
- Confined space, working at heights or other relevant tickets
