FULL-TIME SOLAR ROOFER

PROBEC Solar is looking for a reliable and experienced Solar Roofer to join our growing Sydney installation team.

Established in 2018, PROBEC Solar delivers residential and commercial solar and battery systems across the Sydney metropolitan area. We are committed to safe installations, quality workmanship, regulatory compliance and respectful customer service.

THE POSITION

You will work alongside licensed electricians to complete solar and battery projects safely and efficiently.

Regular duties will include:

- Installing solar rails, brackets, racking and panels
- Working on tile, metal, Colorbond and concrete roofs
- Inspecting roof conditions and reporting existing damage or safety concerns
- Completing weatherproof penetrations and flashing
- Assisting with safe and compliant conduit and DC cable routing under the direction of a licensed electrician
- Assisting with battery brackets, bases and other non-electrical installation work
- Using ladders, harnesses, anchors and fall-protection equipment correctly
- Following site risk assessments, SWMS and all PROBEC safety procedures
- Taking installation and compliance photographs
- Keeping worksites clean, secure and organised
- Working professionally with customers, electricians and project staff

ABOUT YOU





We are looking for someone who:

- Has previous solar installation or roofing experience
- Is confident working on tile and metal roofs
- Holds a valid White Card
- Holds a current Working Safely at Heights qualification
- Hold an Elevated Platform (scissors lift) card
- Is physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Takes pride in safe and high-quality workmanship
- Is reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions
- Communicates well and works effectively within a team
- Is willing to learn battery installation support and system-upgrade work
- Has legal working rights in Australia

A current Australian driver’s licence and National Police Check are preferred.

Please note that this is a roofing and installation support role. All prescribed electrical work must be completed, supervised and signed off by a licensed electrician.
