Estimator – Remedial Works

Freyssinet Australia is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Melbourne-based Remedial team. This is an opportunity to work on technically complex and diverse remedial and strengthening projects that extend the life of critical infrastructure across Australia.

The Role

As an Estimator within the Remedial business, you will lead estimating and tendering activities from initial opportunity review through to submission. You’ll collaborate with technical and delivery teams to develop innovative, competitive solutions for a wide range of remedial works.

The role is based in Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for remedial construction projects

- Develop construction methodologies, programs, and pricing strategies

- Coordinate and write high-quality tender submissions

- Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing

- Provide technical and commercial input during pre-contract planning

Projects You’ll Work On

- Concrete repairs, Protective coatings, Steel and CFRP strengthening

- Bridges, wharves, industrial facilities, tanks and commercial buildings

About You

You are detail-oriented,



self motivated and comfortable working in a technically driven setting.

Essential:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in estimating or pre-contract roles

- Experience in remedial works or specialist construction

- Strong capability in costings, tender writing, planning, and methodologies

- Experience in repairs, marine works or strengthening
