We are a growing concrete structure company operating across Melbourne, specialising in basements and formwork projects. With a solid pipeline of work, this is an excellent opportunity for an energetic, driven individual who wants to build a long-term career in the construction industry while taking on responsibility within a supportive team environment.

This is a hands-on role focused on formwork carpentry, combining on-site construction work with logistics coordination. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality formwork and concreting support across multiple projects while ensuring materials, equipment, and tools are coordinated and delivered safely and efficiently to meet project timelines.

About the Roles

Key Responsibilities

- Assisting with the construction, installation, and dismantling of formwork for concrete structures, including basement and commercial projects.
- Measuring, cutting, assembling, and positioning formwork components in accordance with project specifications and drawings.
- Assisting with the placement, alignment, and bracing of formwork to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety requirements.
- Supporting concrete pours by preparing formwork, checking levels and dimensions, and assisting with stripping formwork after curing.
- Using and maintaining hand tools, power tools,



and construction equipment required for formwork carpentry.
- Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, tools, and equipment between project sites.
- Driving the company's small manual truck to deliver equipment and materials to various sites.
- Operating a forklift (where licensed and required) to safely move materials and equipment.
- Supporting site supervisors with daily site operations and project coordination.
- Maintaining organised storage, yard, and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
- Assisting with general site duties and housekeeping as required to support project delivery.
- Adhering to workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and industry standards at all times.

Requirements

- Forklift Licence
- Manual Driver’s Licence (required for company truck)
- White Card
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Punctual, reliable and safety-focused
