Family based in Lane Cove, NSW is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and reliable nanny to care for their two children aged 2.5 and 5 years.
The family is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and will become a positive and valued part of their household. Their ideal nanny will bring warmth, laughter, creativity, and a playful approach to each day, while also providing gentle guidance and dependable support to help the home run smoothly.
Days & Hours: 4 days per week
- Monday: 7:30am – 10:30am
- Tuesday: 7:30am – 10:30am
- Wednesday: 7:30am – 10.30am (For the right candidate we would consider a full day)
- Thursday: 7:30am – 6:00pm
- Occasional weekend work subject to availability
Typical Day:
On Monday to Wednesday, we would like the nanny to get the children ready for daycare/preschool, complete drop offs and help with light household tasks or meal preparation once the children have left (including walking the dog).
On Thursday, we would like the nanny to drop our eldest off at daycare, and then spend the day with our 2.5 year old.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and engaging in fun,
age-appropriate activities to support learning and development
- Preschool and daycare drop-offs as required
- Preparing straightforward, nutritious meals and snacks for the children
- Walking the family puppy
- Assisting with light household duties to help keep the home running smoothly, including:
- Tidying up after breakfast
- Washing and folding the children's laundry
- Keeping the children's bedrooms and play areas tidy
- Light meal preparation for the children
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience working as a nanny, with proven long-term nanny experience
- Childcare qualifications preferred
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to update)
- Current Working With Children Check
- Full driver's licence essential (family vehicle available for use)
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
