Recent Local Eatery is looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Junior Hospitality Team Member to join our team.

This is an entry-level position suitable for someone starting or developing their career in hospitality or looking for casual work. Previous hospitality experience is preferred. Barista or bartending experience will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

- Welcome customers and provide friendly service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Run food and serve drinks
- Explicit, clean and reset tables
- Prepare coffee and other beverages
- Assist with bar service if appropriately qualified
- Maintain clean dining and service areas
- Process customer payments on the POS
- Support the team during busy service periods
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures

Requirements

- Friendly and confident communication
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and attention to detail
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Barista or bartending experience is a plus
- Award wages and applicable penalty rates apply.
