THE ROLE

The Project Officer provides key support for partnerships and governance initiatives across the First Peoples Housing and Homelessness Branch. The project officer is responsible for preparing briefing materials, developing presentations, analysing data and coordinating input and communication across the branch and broader Homes Victoria to support housing and homelessness partnerships and governance initiatives.

The position provides secretariat and project management support across a range of partnership arrangements and housing and homelessness forums with key stakeholders from a diverse range of organisations and government. The role provides wide ranging administrative, project/policy advice and support functions to various projects to support implementation of Mana-na woorn-tyeen maar-takoort Every Aboriginal Victorian Has a Home - The Victorian Aboriginal Housing and Homelessness Framework (VAHHF).

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

- Operate as an effective member in a team setting and deliver quality, timely and effective support to managers and staff within the First Peoples Housing and Homelessness branch.
- Assist in providing advice to stakeholders and assisting in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on a range of matters.




- Operate with a high-level of integrity and autonomy in managing communication between the Team members, key stakeholders, both internal and external.
