We're recruiting for our team of freelance Cricket Data Reporters in Australia to attend and live-score professional matches throughout the season. The Role

You'll receive first-class training to qualify as an accredited Decimal Data reporter. You'll attend professional matches at major venues across Australia, working from a dedicated professional area, recording the outcome of every ball in real-time, using our highly intuitive live scoring platform. You'll have official access and be supported by a remote team who are all focused on delivering the most exact and trusted fast data, for the best cricket experiences.

What you'll do

· Punctually attend assigned matches

· Carefully log details about the game and conditions

· Attentively watch and live-score every ball using our intuitive proprietary scoring system

· Reliably maintain speed and accuracy across full match days, including multi-day formats

· Always follow Decimal’s scoring protocols and high integrity standards

Pay

· Attractive freelance rates per day, for different formats

· Ticket and media accreditation provided





· Travel expenses provided for venues outside your designated region if required

Commitment

Matches run primarily from September to March across men's and women's domestic cricket, covering multi-day and limited-overs formats. Reporters are assigned a primary venue based on their location, with occasional travel to other grounds.

Training

A comprehensive paid training programme is provided. Assessment is required before you're allocated match assignments, so you can be sure you're set up to succeed.

What we're looking for

· 18+

· Good standard of written and spoken English

· Right to work in Australia (essential)

· Solid knowledge of cricket (formats, scoring, players, the game in general)

· Reliable and punctual

· High attention to detail and the ability to maintain concentration throughout every over

· Clear and professional communicator

· Own your own laptop and be comfortable working on laptops and online systems

· Calm and accurate under pressure
