Direct Care Assistance (DCA), a leading NDIS service provider, is currently seeking an experienced Female Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred support to a participant living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in Werribee.
This is an ongoing casual opportunity consisting of regular weekday community access and in-home support shifts. We are looking for a reliable, compassionate, and proactive support worker who is committed to promoting independence and enhancing the participant's quality of life.

Regular Ongoing Shifts
- Tuesdays: 9:15 am – 11:15 am (Weekly Cleaning Support)
- Wednesdays: 8:30 am – 10:30 am (Fortnightly Community Access Support)
- Fridays: 9:30 am – 11:30 am (Fortnightly Physiotherapy Transport & Support)
- Monthly: MS Lunch Support (approximately 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, first Tuesday of each month)
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 6 months to a year of experience working as a Disability Support Worker.
- Experience supporting participants within the NDIS framework.
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence and a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for transporting participants.
- Confidence supporting participants with community access and transport.
- Ability to assist with domestic tasks, including light household cleaning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing person-centred support.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes.
What You'll be doing? (Essential Duties)
- Supporting the participant with community access and social participation.
- Assisting with school drop-off as part of the support routine.
- Providing transport and support to appointments, including Foodbank visits and physiotherapy appointments.
- Assisting with household cleaning and maintaining a secure home environment.
- Promoting the participant's independence, choice, dignity, and wellbeing.
- Building positive, respectful relationships with the participant and their informal supports.
- Completing accurate progress notes and reporting any relevant observations in accordance with organisational procedures.
